Ron has been the Executive Director of BCC since its beginning in 1989. He holds his Doctorate of Ministries in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Seminary and is a Fellow and Board member of the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors. He is also on the board of Low Country Biblical Counseling Center and is a member at Harvest Bible Chapel. He and his wife Sherry enjoy traveling to various missions locations and have had the opportunity to teach counseling in many foreign countries. They have three married adult children and seven grandchildren.

Sherry has a Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Seminary, Newburg IN, and has been counseling at Biblical Counseling Center in Arlington Heights since 1994. Sherry and her husband Ron have served in ministry together for over 40 years, with more than 20 years experience in youth ministry and several years teaching in Christian schools. Since 1989 they have worked together at BCC, and enjoy traveling and teaching at seminars together around the globe. They attend Harvest Bible Chapel, Rolling Meadows IL.  Sherry and Ron have three married children who all serve the Lord alongside godly mates. Sherry enjoys reading and gardening, but especially loves spoiling her seven wonderful grandchildren in all the ways a grandmother should!

Jeff is a graduate of Trinity Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. He has been associated with BCC since 1991, first as a volunteer, then as a part-time counselor and now full time since 1999 as a counselor/teacher and Academic Director. Jeff has also written several articles for the BCC Bulletin. He has served as an elder at his church. He and his wife Saralyn homeschool their three children Garrett, Caroline, and Shane.

Tim holds a Masters of Divinity From Trinity Evangelical Seminary and is currently on track to complete his doctorate in counseling.

At the age of six, after encouragement from his parents, Tim made the choice to embrace Christ as Lord. Over nine years ago, Tim began working with junior high students at Harvest. Recently, he has taken on a new role overseeing strategies to grow struggling and hurting people through Harvest’s counseling ministry called Group Life. Tim loves the hope found in the gospel and when it comes to people who are thirsty for this hope, Tim says, “I like giving people a drink.”

 

Tim displays a keen interest in travel, and has only four states left to color in on his travel map: Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Hawaii. Tim loves Ethiopian food, culture and coffee and holds a bizarre affinity for all things Philadelphia, including but not limited to: cheesesteaks, Phillies, and Independence Days firework displays. And should you ever need a pal to go hunting with - call Tim. He passed his hunter’s safety course with flying colors. A special side note: he has never actually been hunting.

Linda attends Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows and serves on the Lay Counseling ministry there. She loves helping with the Overcomers group, Outreach committee and PADS ministries, especially working with those who are in bondage to addictions.

 

She has two sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren who are the joy of her life. Her dear parents and sister live in California where she was born and raised. She loves to walk with her dog Chloe and read in her spare time. "I am very excited to be part of the team at the Biblical Counseling Center."

Ron is a 1997 graduate of Moody Bible Institute with a BA in Communications, with an emphasis on Film & Video Production. He is a freelance Producer who resides in Los Angeles, CA working on various films, TV shows and commercials. His responsibilities for BCC include producing events such as the Annual Fellowship Dinners, overseeing the production of all BCC media such as the many video materials, Seminar promotional materials and BCC publications such as the Mended Lives newsletters. Although Ron's 1st passion is his family (wife Dolores, daughter Olivia, son William) he also enjoys coffee roasting, blending and the art of coffee making.

Mark is a great addition to the BCC multimedia and technology staff, bringing a host of talents that will encourage this ministry to be more productive. He is making our online bookstore come alive and keeps it up to date and manages it on the web. Many of our training products require engineering skills to produce and Mark is assisting BCC to bring you better products than was possible in the past.

 

His musical skills were evident at a young age, both in classical piano and with many other instruments as well.  He started his own bands, both as a vocalist and as a guitarist, and produced recordings and films even during high school.  After some theater in college, he decided the multi-media and arts industry, as a whole, was the best fit. He now operates a software company and also is using his gifts to benefit BCC. Mark wants to influence the arts, engineering, and counseling through his faith and firm commitment to Christ.

 

Mark grew up attending Willow Creek Community Church with his family, but now attends Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadow IL.

Kelly is our Events Coordinator. Having received her education in Foods and Business, within the Humanities, and worked in Banquets and Catering while her children were young, Kelly serves the BCC with her knowledge and experience.

 

She continues to serve as a leader within the Single Parent Ministry at Harvest Bible Chapel where she attends. She has 2 children who are both currently attending college. She loves to read, garden, cook and bike.

Jacki began volunteering at Biblical Counseling Center when they opened their Lynwood office and enjoyed watching them grow and move into their present home in Schererville, Indiana.  She participates in women’s weekly Bible study and serves as a part time secretary at her church, Lynwood United Reformed Church.

 

She and her husband, Paul, have 6 children: 3 married children, one single adult son, one son in high school and one son already with the Lord. She loves spending time with friends and family, especially sharing in the lives of her 6 grandchildren and whatever spare time is left, she enjoys reading.
