How can I be trained in Biblical Counseling?
MONDAY NOVEMBER 21, 2005

Biblical counseling is a lay movement where people are equipped to support one another. We encourage you to join over 20,000 individuals who have attended Biblical counseling training seminars and are equipped to counsel and disciple fellow believers. There are also over 500 people who have completed extensive national and international certification training.

The Biblical Counseling Center of Arlington Heights, Illinois uses these mediums to do training:

  1. Training Seminars hosted by a local institution. We conduct our training at local institutions,  nationally and internationally, because this provides a better opportunity for more people to participate in becoming equipped to counsel and disciple fellow believers. A church or other Christian institution can choose any of our seminars to be taught. Churches or other institutions who wish to host a training seminar for their fellowship or their community should plan ahead at least 3 to 6 months.

  2. Training through a self-paced program. Our four certificate training seminars, other topical training seminars plus actual counseling observations are provided as learning tools via audio tape, video tape and DVD.

Check out other areas on our site for times, locations, training materials, resources and costs.
