I want to first express my deepest gratitude to those of you who remembered BCC with your financial gifts during the slower than usual summer months. I was concerned mid-summer because of the drop-off in giving. But God provided through many of you in such a wonderful way that no staff or ministries of the Center were affected.

   I spent another week teaching in September at the Pastors' Convention in Santiago, Cuba. What a wonderful experience it was to teach counseling to Cuban Pastors who went home to impact thousands in their churches. It is always thrilling to see their responses as they come to understand the application of the Word, yes, even in socialist Cuba.

   Our fall seminar season is here with over 100 students in our Foundations and Contemporary issues seminars. Pray for our instructors as they teach and challenge the students to be more involved in “net mending” the lives of people in their churches.

   We are eager to see more students sign up for our counseling training now available online. We are expecting to see people from all over the world register online and complete our certificate program right on the internet in the privacy of their own homes.

   Sherry and I are thankful to each of you for your prayers concerning our health issues. We both are so thankful to God to be able to report that the doctors have presently given us both a clean bill of health. We praise HIM for His healing in our lives.
