Karen Coulter M.A.

Counselor

Karen Coulter is a graduate of Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Counseling. Karen has been certified by the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors for over 20 years and is also certified by IABC.. While living in the Minneapolis, MN area, Karen started and directed her own counseling center, counseling women and children for over 20 churches. Since returning to IL, Karen has joined the staff at BCC as a counselor. Karen wrote an article published in The Journal of Biblical Counseling on "Helping Women with Post-Abortion" and has written several articles for the BCC Bulletin, Mended Lives and Counselor's Weekly Guide Newsletter.  Karen enjoys counseling on a variety of issues including anxiety, grief, depression, anger, abuse and resolving problems in relationships.  Karen presently resides in the Northwest Suburbs with her husband and daughter.
